MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the safe and timely maintenance, repair or replacement of equipment

  • To ensure quality and guest satisfaction, while supporting the policies, vision and objectives of the company.

OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY

  • Monitor and track all defected equipment, stock and spare parts.

  • Perform maintenance functions as needed.

  • Manage team leader to ensure high quality results and proper delivery of service.

  • Cross-functional coordination between suppliers and the company to support staff and technically solve problems.

  • Plan and lay out repair work using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, and schematic diagrams.

  • Assure safety standards are adhered to, which comply with the H&S. 

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in theme park industry preferably within a technical services role.

  • Expert technical knowledge of Audio, Video and Lighting systems.

  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

  • Possess a firm knowledge of installation tools and ability to use them.

  • Familiar with Microsoft operating systems and office packages.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • Theme park environment (indoor and outdoor). This position might require to stand and walk for long period of time and perform under pressure and safety-dependent duties. In addition, exposure to operational equipment, machines, tools, vehicles, rides and other mechanical machineries.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance and repair work throughout the Park.

  • Respond to downtimes for Rides & Shows elements and quality issues.

  • Ensure the safe operation of all rides and attractions whilst providing an exceptional experience for guests

  • To provide support to the Rides & Shows Maintenance Team Leader, to ensure a comprehensive service is delivered to the business and key deliverables are achieved. 

OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY

  • Carry out daily ride safety inspections ensuring the highest safety standards are adhered to.

  • Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance and repair work throughout IMG Worlds of Adventure.

  • Have a hands on approach for the maintenance and repair of all equipment and machines.

  • Ensure the proper functioning of all rides and equipment prior to the start of daily operation.

  • Complete all work orders as assigned in a professional and efficient manner and to a high standard of quality.

  • Communicate regularly with the Rides & Shows Maintenance Team Leader with regard to all maintenance issues.

  • Respond to downtimes for Rides & Shows elements, quality repair related issues and Rides recovery related issues for which the main workshop has the relevant tools and machines.

  • Report any emergency issues that occur within the area of responsibility.

  • Perform ad-hoc duties as and when required, as this is a hands on role.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school (technical subjects).

  • Certificate / Diploma in a technical field preferred (Electrical, Mechanical Engineering etc.)

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, control systems and QC.

  • In depth knowledge of heavy industrial equipment, manufacturing/process/packaging machinery. Drive systems, motor / gearboxes, pumps, chains, couplings, conveyors, bearings & bushes, hydraulics, pneumatics, actuators, contactors, relays, sensors, VFD and PLC systems.

  • Ability to read, analyse, interpret technical procedures, equipment manuals and technical specifications. Electrical drawings, Hydraulic and Pneumatic schematics

  • Demonstrated success in a maintenance and repair position.

  • At least 3 years’ maintenance technician experience. 

  • Theme Park experience preferred.

  1. HAUNTED HOTEL

 

To work in the scariest, fun hotel in the world, bringing to life the scariest characters in Haunted Hotel

 

Height Ranges:

Female – 150 cm – 180 cm

Male – 150 cm – 190 cm

 

  • Able to act, animate certain Haunted Hotel Characters— basically, to scare people!

  • Physically capable of wearing silicone masks & costumes

  • Physically fit an can run, walk and stand long hours

  • Able to work in a scary dark environment (Haunted Hotel)

 

  1. CARTOON NETWORK CHARACTERS

 

Be part of the Cartoon Network family and bring to life the characters on CN stage and around the park to Guests

 

Height Ranges:

Female – 150 cm – 180 cm

Male – 150 cm – 190 cm

 

  • Able to act, animate, groove as Cartoon Characters

  • Physically capable of wearing Cartoon costumes (tight, loose, big, heavy — expect something unusual)

  • Preferably fit / active body type.

 

 

 

  1. DINO CHARACTER

 

Bring to life the prehistoric dinosaur in Lost Valley & around the park

 

Male – 165cm – 185 cm

 

  • Able to act, animate Dino, bringing to life the prehistoric dinosaur in Lost Valley zone

  • Physically fit an can run, walk and stand long hours

  • Able to carry / wear weighted costume and clothing over a period

 

 

 ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Must be physically and mentally fit

  • Stand for long periods and comfortable wearing mascot outfits and in confined spaces (not claustrophobic)

  • Physically fit to carry out the demands of the requirements and work long hours

  • Can work or perform for both kids and adults alike
